THE KIDS ON THE BLOCK (KOB) is a puppet troupe. Each puppet in KOB has it's own unique character and challenges.  They dress and act like actual kids.  These puppets have their own interests, hopes, fears, talents and needs. Please visit the official website at


  • originated in U.S.A. and launched in Hong Kong since 1995

  • performed to over 200,000 children

  • raise children's awareness of medical & educational differences and other social concerns

  • extremely effective in creating an atmosphere where children feel comfortable to ask questions freely

  • create positive changes in attitude and behavior for future generations


  • each performance covers two topics, and takes approximately 45 minutes

  • two performances can be arranged on the same day for audiences over 150 children or the same age group

  • teaching materials are available for follow-up activities by schools/organizations to strengthen the audience's understanding
